A Little About Reggie Frederick

Kaploe Group marketing guru and Owner of Chalet Bowl, Tacoma, Washingtion; Reggie Frederick has seen and done it all in the bowling business.

A Graduate of Washington State University, Frederick started working in the bowling business in 1966 (currently in 39th year in the bowling business). Frederick has worked at bowling centers as large as 40 lanes and as small as 8 lanes and is knowledgable in every aspect of the bowling business. From pinchaser to manager to owner Frederick has done it all.

Besides operating the very successful Chalet Bowl, bowling center, Reggie also teaches bowling for the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA.

Board positions held:

Twice Frederick served on the BPAA board (4 years under the old system and two years under the Carver System of governance). He also held every position on the Washington State Bowling Association, including President and was the chairman of the Entertainment Industry Coalition in Washington State, which deals with gambling and smoking issues in the state. Frederick was the chairman of the BPAA Education Committee for 3 years.

Frederick is currently serving his sixth year on the BPAA Nominations Committee.

Reggie enjoys spending time with his wife Nancy (31 years) and two sons Billy (25) and Jon (21).
