Terrace Lanes Manager Awarded Manager of the Year!

Kathleen Perry, General Manager of Terrace Lanes in Frederick, MD, was named the first ever General Manager of the Year by Bowling Center Management magazine. The kaploe group has worked with Kathleen and her team for four years “I’m overwhelmed. There are so many people who are great in this job. To be first is awesome,” said Perry.

Perry has provided her management expertise and leadership to the 36-lane bowl for seven years and each year has seen growth in revenue and profit. In particular, in 2004 league and open play sales were up over 7 percent, total revenue grew by 9 percent, and expenses were reduced. The center has brought creativity to its marketing and programs, producing more happy customers.

While Perry oversees every aspect of the business, her strength is her ability to delegate and empower her employees to get the job done. “I have great, dedicated people who are hard working team players,” Perry states.

“I also credit working with the kaploe group for aiding our success,” she says.

Congratulations, also, to two other Kaploe client, Cape Ann Lanes in Gloucester, MA, and Hanover Bowling Centre (PA), on recently being named Proprietor of the Month by BCM.
